The new Global Entertainment Content Outlook report is claiming that based on the growth seen in 2017 will continue over the coming years and reach a whopping $439 billion globally by 2021

They have calculated this would represent an over all 17% increase from 2017 with TV and Video accounting for the lion’s share.

Interestingly (especially for us as we work predominantly in the SVOD space, the report showed that in 2013, SVOD accounted for just 13% of home consumer spend, but by 2017, it accounted for almost half of worldwide spend!

This very much resonates with the shift we have seen over the past few years, with partners and clients choosing SVOD services as their primary products.
