The latest report from Futuresource Consulting is claiming that although the AR (Augmented Reality) / MR (Mixed Reality) proposition is still very much in its infancy, it’s considered to be the next major computing platform.

This creates clear commercial opportunities for developers, vendors and content creators alike and we have all the big players such as facebook, google and apple all clamouring to create that killer app that will change the way we do things day-to-day.

It will be interesting to see how this pans out and some of the current issues are similar to those I mentioned in an earlier post about Virtual Reality.
